Myrtle Street - Development Agreement

The Town of Yarmouth has received a Development Agreement application from the owner of two lots, shown on the image below, to permit:

• approximately 42 new single detached homes developed in multiple phases;
• a new private road off of Myrtle Street; and
• extension of Town water and sewer to service the development.

UPDATE: Public Participation Meeting

Given the scale of this project intended for the Subject Site, a Public Participation Meeting has been scheduled for TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 AT 6PM at the Town Hall (400 Main St). The meeting will allow interested parties to provide their thoughts on the submitted application directly to the Planning Advisory Committee.

Feedback received will help inform the Committee’s recommendation on the application to Council (see process steps and timing on the next page). All members of the public are welcome to attend.

Open House

An open house session regarding the proposed development has been scheduled to provide you and other adjacent landowners with an opportunity to learn about the project and speak to the applicant and Town staff about the application. The open house will be held on TUESDAY, JUNE 25, FROM 7PM TO 8.30PM at the Mariners Centre in the Lounge on the 2nd floor of the building. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
