The Waterfront Action Plan was presented to Committee of the Whole on Thursday January 25, 2018. The action plan outlines four (4) goals to be achieved; 1. Proactive Economic Development, we must be our own voice and be actively engaging in conversations to enable growth and business diversity in our area. 2.Nurturing Business, we must support and foster existing business and industry within our area. 3. Create a place for workers and visitors, our working waterfront should be embraced and encouraged in order to support our workforce, but at the same time we need to nurture tourism. We will find a balance between work and play. 4. Move People and Goods, it is time to focus and advocate strongly for our existing transportation facilities as well as our future needs. We must enable the ready movement of people and goods.

A Waterfront Action Plan has been developed from your ideas that were shared through getinvolvedyarmouth.ca and the waterfront symposiums.

Town Council, Waterfront Development Committee, Waterfront Stakeholders and Staff are reviewing the Action Plan to determine project priorities. Future Public Meetings will be scheduled as projects are identified.

The Action Plan is located in the Project Document Library.
