The Town has initiated a closure of approximately 530 square metres of existing road to enable an intended sale and redevelopment of the former Tourist Bureau property. Concurrently with the proposed closure, this report also seeks to zone the (to be) closed portion of the road in line with the zoning on adjacent land (i.e., Downtown Commercial (C-1) zone). Several housekeeping changes to various maps contained in the Land Use Bylaw and the Municipal Planning Strategy are also proposed.
